About me

Saman is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Rochester's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, working under the supervision of Professor Gonzalo Mateos and closely collaborating with Professor Mujdat Cetin. He holds two master's degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Rochester (2021) and Sharif University of Technology (2018).

Saman's research focuses on machine learning over graphs, encompassing graph neural networks and scalable graph representation learning. His work aims to uncover unknown relationships in complex networks from nodal observations, enhancing network interpretation and enabling machine learning applications. He is dedicated to developing efficient algorithms that can be applied to large-scale graphs and handle streaming data through online optimization.
